How do I link my bank account to my profile?

To link your profile to your bank account, please follow these steps:

What type of bank account can I link to my profile?

Can I add multiple bank accounts to my profile, and which account will be used for my payment request if I have set up multiple accounts in my profile?

You can add another bank account in . If you have several bank accounts linked to your profile, you can select the account from which the payment is to be made when creating the payment request. Once a payment request has been created, it is no longer possible to change the recipient account. If you still want to change it, you must cancel the request and create a new one with the bank account you want to use.

I have bank accounts with several banks. Can I link my telephone number to several accounts at different banks?

No, it is not possible to link the same telephone number to different bank accounts.

Who can use ?

How fast are payments?

Your payments will be debited from your account immediately upon validation. You will usually receive payments in your bank account immediately after the payer has sent them to you. This process usually takes less than 10 seconds.

How secure are transactions with ?

To confirm a transaction, you will be asked to authenticate yourself with your PIN code, fingerprint or facial recognition.

For your own security, do not share your PIN code with anyone else. Make sure that only you have access to your phone and lock your phone with a code, fingerprint or facial recognition.

How do I generate a QR code?

Can I send a payment request to anyone?

Yes, you can send a payment request to anyone who uses . The other person must be located in a country where is available in order to create a profile. In addition, your contact’s bank must offer as a payment solution.

For how long is a payment request valid?

A payment request is valid for 30 days. If your contact does not complete your payment request within 30 days, the request will be cancelled.

How can I get a refund?

Once a payment has been confirmed, it is no longer possible to cancel it. If you would like a refund after making a payment, please contact the person who received your payment.

Where can I find an overview of the transactions I have made?

You can find all your transactions in your profile (transaction overview). You can also view your successful transactions on your account statements.

I have sent an incorrect payment request by mistake. Can I still cancel it?

You can cancel a pending payment request directly in the details of your payment request. If your payment request has already been paid, it is not possible to cancel it.

How many people can split an amount using the “Split amount” function?

The maximum number of people among whom an amount can be split is 20.

Is there a minimum amount for the “Split amount” function?

The minimum amount that users can split is EUR 1.00.

Can the “Split amount” function also be used to split cash payments, external outgoings and transactions that have not yet been posted, or is a posting on the list of transactions a prerequisite?

Yes, that is an option. Cash payments or external expenditure can be split among several people via the “Request money” function – you do not already have to have a transaction posted on your list of transactions for this.

What are the limits for transactions?

There is a daily limit for payments, which is set by your Sparkasse. Various maximum amounts may apply – for sending money to other people, for example, and for payments to online retailers. The exact amounts can be found in the List of Prices and Services of your Sparkasse, or you can ask your Sparkasse directly. In addition, there is a maximum amount for real-time transfers. Please note that the available limit depends on the transaction limit of the account linked to .
